The traditional Panettone masters!

Celebrate your Holidays with us!

When we first set up or shop we knew that we needed to find the perfect Panettone and Pandoro to bring with us to the USA. We tasted all kinds - It’s a hard job, we know! - but finally fell in love with Borsari’s!

Since then we discovered also all the other delicacies they produce, all with one not-so-secret ingredient in common: their passion for the traditional recipes!

Today we want to share the story of this beautiful company, and discover more about their Panettone and Pandoro off course!

In fair Verona, where we lay our scene…

Verona, in the north of Italy, is not only the city of Romeo and Juliet but also that of Borsari. The name comes from a famous roman door in the city that you can still visit today!

In 1903, the “Mastro pasticcere” Tiziano Golfetti opened his first shop and called it like the famous door: Borsari. Here he started selling his creations: the soft and fragrant Pandoro, but also Panettoni and Colombe with delicious fillings of chocolate and cream.

It was mastro Golfetti who started the tradition to sell his desserts in beautifully designed and hand painted boxes. His Pandoro was really a work of art!

Today the Muzzi Family has taken over the Borsari brand but they never forgot the lessons they learned from the founder: they stay true to the artisanal tradition that makes their products really unique!

With a Panettone or Pandoro by Borsari you can’t go wrong and their precious packaging make their products the perfect gift for the holiday season!
