Alce Nero organic cocoa shortbread biscuits with Fairtrade cocoa beans are produced using extra virgin olive oil, without eggs, flavorings or fats of animal origin. The flour comes exclusively from organic wheat grown in Italy. The cocoa is Fairtrade certified, as is the sugar, and harvested by groups of smallholder farmers in Latin America.
