A staple of Italian cuisine, it is so called because of the predominant presence of chili and garlic as its ingredients, giving it the spicy flavor and the strong kick that makes it so popular. It is generally used with Penne for the typical “Penne all’Arrabbiata”, but it goes perfectly well with any kind of pasta.
