Arrabbiata (meaning “angry”) is a spicy sauce for pasta, typical of Lazio. A staple of Italian cuisine, it is so called because of the predominant presence of chili and garlic as its ingredients, giving it the spicy flavor and the strong kick that makes it so popular. It is generally used with Penne for the typical “Penne all’Arrabbiata”, but it goes perfectly well with any kind of pasta.
Ingredients: Vine-ripened tomatoes (diced, juice, paste), whole cherry tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, onion, carrot, sea salt, chili pepper, concentrated lemon juice, black pepper.
