You know that Aperitivo is one of our favorite meals in Italy! We love to have some savory snacks to enjoy with a good glass of wine or an Aperol Spritz so for today’s recipe I decided to share this super simple, extra quick recipe for some delicious savory cakes!

These are the perfect bite-sized delight to make for an Aperitivo with your friends. They will take so little to make, but your guest will for sure want to know the recipe!

To make these Savory Pies with Genoese Pesto, I start by mixing the heavy cream with the pesto, obtaining a velvety cream.

I then cover the puff pastry with the cream leaving a generous edge so that the filling does not come out.

I place the slices of Galbanone cheese on the pastry and roll it up. Finally, I cut the roll into slices 2/3 cm thick.

I place the slices obtained on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until golden brown.
